Shipping Policy


All in-stock orders received Monday - Friday before 2:00pm MST are shipped within 24 hours. Most recipients within the continental United States should expect to receive their order within 2-5 business days. For guaranteed delivery please select the USPS Priority Express or UPS 2nd Day Air shipping method. Please note that we are not responsible for shipping delays encountered or caused by our carriers. 

Backordered product will be shipped as soon as available, generally within 7 days.

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using First Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers.

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping of your order is based on the weight of your products, and your location. Free shipping is offered for purchases of $49 or more. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, and you will have a chance to not place your order if you decide not to.

Back Orders

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment.

Undelivered Orders

If a customer fails to accept delivery or pick up a product within 60 days of the purchase date, The Life of the Party will consider the property abandoned and has the right to sell, dispose of, or use any such products in any way it chooses.



To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and unworn and in new condition. It must also be in the original packaging. Merchandise that has been worn, used, opened, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange. Returns are only granted for defective items with 14 days of purchase.

Items that are missing, lost, delayed, late, damaged in transit, not delivered, stolen, were not needed, or are otherwise covered by Route+ are ineligible for return.

Several products are ineligible for return or exchange. These include:

  • Leggings
  • Hosiery
  • Makeup
  • Wigs
  • Consumables
  • Gift cards/Gift certificates
  • Balloons
  • Services
  • Special Orders
  • Online Only Inventory (Including but not limited to Halco, Daisy Corsets, & Cos-Tools brands)
  • Any other item that cannot safely be resold

Please note that this list is not exhaustive and The Life of the Party reserves the right to make adjustments as necessary.

Due to the unique safety precautions that must be observed due to COVID-19 additional items may be ineligible for return or exchange. The Life of the Party reserves the right to refuse any return that could pose a threat to the health and safety of our staff or customers. 

To request a return please submit your request at A representative will reach out to review your request and will provide approval or disapproval at that time.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We are unable to guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please allow up to 30 days for processing.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable)
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at and, upon obtaining approval, send your item to: 4025 S Mason St, Ste B, Fort Collins, CO, 80525, United States.

If your item is in like new condition, you may be eligible to exchange for a different size. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you still will have to pay return shipping.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
